Dr. Stacy Jaszewski

Hello! I’m Dr. Stacy L. Jaszewski. I obtained my bachelor’s in Psychology from Marquette University with the intention of pursuing a career in human medicine. I worked in clinical research and healthcare administration for Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin for many years before a chance meeting with an enthusiastic veterinarian in my home town of West Bend, WI. After shadowing her for just a day, I knew I had found my passion in veterinary medicine. I attended veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin where I had so many unique experiences working with large animals, wildlife, and even some exotic species from around the world. Ultimately, I decided to pursue companion animal medicine in the pursuit to help serve the special human-animal bond in our Milwaukee community.

My special interests include feline medicine and small mammals such as guinea pigs and ferrets. I also really love cytology (looking at cells under the microscope) and enjoy helping prevent or treat diseases by examining those things too small to see with the naked eye.

When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my four nieces and two nephews. I also have one cat, Luna, who enjoys taking leashed nature hikes with me nearly every day (only if Luna approves of the weather, of course).
